Mac & Cheese Cook-off & To-go Mac fundraiser was held June 17, 11 am-2 pm at Trinity Church. A wide variety of local contestants brought their champion recipes to the competition for best Mac & Cheese in the Rutland area. The event raised funds for Companions in Wholeness and other food insecurity initiatives in the Rutland area.

The 48-48-48 Pickleball Challenge: 48 Pickleball Matches in 48 States in less than 48 Days
On May 1, two Sarasota-somethings Dean Matt (aka MuchoDeanAero, aka The Pickleball Pilot) and Kent Lampke, and pickleball addicts/instructors departed Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in an attempt at a World Record: Fastest Time to Play a Game of Pickleball in all 48 Contiguous States. They chose the Rotary Club of Rutland to host the stop in Vermont.
Tom Giffin, Vermont Old Cemeteries Association president, led volunteers at a clean-up at North Main Cemetery in Rutland where many Revolutionary War soldiers are buried. Many volunteers from the Rotary clubs in Rutland, VOCA, and others cleaned up the cemetery on Saturday, May 13.

October 6, 2020 - The sculpture of Rotary founder Paul Harris was unveiled and now resides at its downtown Rutland location on Merchants Row. The sculpture designed by Amanda Sisk and sculpted by Evan Morse is the eighth local history inspired marble sculpture installed making up the growing Rutland Sculpture Trail.
The Rotary Club of Rutland partners with three local Rotary clubs on a global grant to support a significant need for PPE, durable/sustainable equipment and food for the Rutland Area. Partner clubs include Rutland Rotary South, Killington-Pico Rotary Club and West Rutland Rotary Club. The $35K grant was the highest single grant given in the Rotary district including matching funds from both the District Rotary Foundation and from the Rotary International Foundation for a Rotary Foundation COVID-19 Recovery Global Grant.
